When the pandemic hit I made myself two promises:

1. I would move to a more convenient & usable space (check!)
2. I would no longer run The Well alone (checkity check!)

After much prayer, consideration, and thought I chose my new partners. Women who held opposite strengths to me, yet held a similar vision, and the women I needed to scale The Well so we can increase those we serve and support.

Now all I had to do was get them to say yes!

More on that later, right now I want to share each amazing woman and why I chose her.

Leane, our new COO for her powerful business sense & experience. Her no nonsense approach, ease in decision making, clarity, and wisdom.

Taheera, our new CFO for her calmness, the way she simplifies accounting into a language visionaries can understand, and how she always has my back and the well members too.

Kristina, our new CMO for her deep desire to scale The Well and her know how to do it. She is a brilliant product developer and continually keeps us on track with our goals.

These women volunteered time without pay over and over again. They were my daily support long before I asked them to become co-owners.

Key takeaway for women:

it’s worth investing time without pay into organizations you believe in, if it brings you joy and a sense of purpose, sometimes it even leads you to becoming an owner.

I hope you’ll celebrate with me, and also ask for help when you need it, you never know they just might say yes!
