The Well Collab Community Guidelines

*Please note that our community is always evolving and growing, and we will update these guidelines as needed. Please review these guidelines periodically to see if there are any changes.

Membership Criteria

Our members embody the essence of authentic connections, community-minded sharing and support, and self-awareness to know their capacity to contribute and how to self-regulate before and after attending our circles and events.

By sharing recommendations, and opportunities, and celebrating each other's achievements, we strive to unite heart-led professional women & entrepreneurs, providing access to a diverse and trusted private network of peers, mentors, and leaders navigating similar challenges.

The Well Collab embraces members from all backgrounds within our inclusive community.

To qualify for membership, applicants must:

  • Express a genuine interest in networking with other members, offering their knowledge and resources, and participating in group events and meetings.

  • Showcase a desire and ability to share value with the community.

  • We welcome individuals who identify as women, transgender, non-binary, and non-gender conforming

Who is The Well Collab designed for and what are the top member industries?

The intentional community for multi-generational women leaders is designed for curious, thoughtful, and open-minded women who are making an impact while prioritizing their mental & physical health. This includes professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives who are dedicated to empowering one another and cultivating a supportive network of women.

The top member industries in this exclusive community may span across various sectors, including but not limited to:

  • Marketing, communications, and public relations

  • Business and entrepreneurship

  • Arts and creative industries

  • Women’s Health & Wellness

  • Legal and consultancy services

  • Non-profit and social impact organizations

  • Technology and innovation

  • Finance and banking

  • Real estate

This diverse mix of industries allows members to engage in meaningful conversations, share insights, and collaborate on projects that foster both personal and professional growth. The focus of the community is to provide a welcoming platform that connects and empowers generations of women leaders, and further expands into their own communities.

Who is The Well Collab not for?

Membership may not be suitable for those who:

  • Career, wellness, or life coaches who primarily seek to promote or solicit their services, rather than focusing on genuine networking, collaboration, and support.

  • Professionals who view the membership solely as a platform for self-promotion, without actively participating in the community or contributing to the growth and success of fellow members.

  • Individuals who are using the community as therapy rather than seeking out professional mental health support. While our circles can be therapeutic, they are run by Well Women Member Volunteers, not mental health professionals.

  • Individuals who consistently engage in competitive or negative behavior, as opposed to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for all members.

  • Professionals with a history of breaching confidentiality, trust, or privacy within professional networks or communities.

  • Those who are not committed to attending events, workshops, or networking opportunities cannot fully engage with and benefit from the community experience.

The Well Collab membership aims to cultivate a supportive and empowering environment, centered around genuine connections, collaboration, and shared growth. Individuals who do not align with these values or objectives may not be the right fit for our community.

How often do you accept new members?

The Well Collab’s top priority is maintaining the integrity of the community and ensuring members receive the best onboarding experience. For that reason, we open applications a few times a year to ensure the quality of your membership.

During times when acceptances are paused, you can hop onto our Waitlist so you are notified when membership opens.

If you have attended a Circle, booked a Discovery Call, or attended an event, you will be invited to join as a member through an email.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

What events are available for members to attend?

The Well Collab members receive exclusive invites to private Member Meetups such as brunch, Well Mixers, member events, and more. Please keep in mind that some meetups are ticketed at an additional cost to the membership, to accommodate any meetup costs such as food and beverage.

We host member meetups a few times per year in the following cities: Saskatoon and Toronto, and virtually

Tickets typically range from $0-50 depending on the event type or venue and are first come, first serve. We add new meetups regularly to ensure there are enough spots for all members.

We add new cities once we see there are enough members located in an area.

Our Well Collab Circle Leaders also lead our Meetings so you’ll always have a point of contact at events.

Why do you charge a fee for Member Events?

Some in-person events are ticketed at an additional cost to cover venue and experience costs such as food, beverage, service charges/gratuity, instructor fees (if applicable to the meetup), and more.

We charge a nominal fee for member meetup tickets to ensure committed attendance and to enhance the overall experience for all members. In the past, we observed high no-show rates at free events, by charging a small ticket fee, we have significantly reduced the no-show rates, ensuring a better turnout and a more valuable experience for everyone involved.

Can I get my employer to cover the cost of my membership?

Yes! The Well Collab is an excellent asset to employers looking to elevate the network, skill sets, and learning of their employees. Here’s a request letter template you can use to ask your company to cover the annual fees for The Well Collab Membership.

Do you have monthly payment options?

Membership Code of Conduct

Welcome to The Well Collab, our members-only community for Feminine Women Leaders. Our community is dedicated to fostering a supportive and empowering environment where members can share ideas, network, and collaborate with one another. To ensure that all members feel safe and respected, we have established the following Membership Code of Conduct. By joining our community, you agree to abide by these rules:

  • No Solicitation Policy: Our community is a non-commercial space and is not intended for commercial or promotional purposes. However, we do want our members to know about your offerings and services so we have a dedicated page where you can promote or share your offerings on our virtual network. The Well Collab is not responsible for any events, services, or offerings posted on the Member Offerings page. If you wish to promote a product, service, or event on The Well Collab’s social platforms, please contact the community administrators for sponsorship or advertising opportunities.

  • No Harassment Policy: We are committed to maintaining a respectful and harassment-free environment for all members. Harassment in any form, including but not limited to, sexual harassment, verbal abuse, or discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation, will not be tolerated. Any member who engages in harassment will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of membership.

  • Respect for Others: Our community is made up of members from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage open discussion and believe it’s powerful to be in a room with those you disagree with. We expect all members to engage in respectful dialogue, only sharing from their own personal stories and perspective, never sharing other peoples stories, and avoiding personal attacks or abusive language.

  • No-Show Policy: We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise that prevent members from attending our Circles, virtual offerings or in-person events. However, we ask that members who have registered for a virtual or in-person event but are unable to attend, notify us, or their circle leader, at least 72 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the spot to another member who may be interested in attending. If a member fails to notify us of their inability to attend an office hour or in-person event at least 72 hours in advance, they will be considered a "no-show". As outlined in our Warning and Removal System for Non-Compliant Members, two or more no-shows may result in disciplinary action, up to and including permanent removal from the community.

  • Engagement in Safe and Respectful Conversations: All discussions within our Virtual Network should contribute to a safe and inclusive atmosphere. To preserve the professional nature of our community, each member must only share her own lived experience, and not other peoples. Degrading comments regarding race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. Members posting inappropriate content will be asked to edit or delete their posts, failing which may result in a risk to their membership. The Well Collab is not responsible for advice given by other members (Circles, Webinars, WellAdvised, etc).

  • Business Solicitation Policy: Consistent with our community's commitment to fostering trust and authentic connections, we firmly disallow any unsolicited self-promotion or business requests in the absence of an already established relationship. Our community and platform are designed to foster genuine connections and mutual respect. Engaging in transactional networking, such as asking for new clients, to work together with members you have not formed a genuine relationship with, undermines the spirit of our community. Networking should be based on meaningful interactions and mutual support, not solely on personal gain. Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of membership.

  • Confidentiality: Our community is a private space for members to share ideas and collaborate. We expect all members to respect the confidentiality of the discussions and materials shared within the community.

  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Members are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, intellectual property laws, antitrust laws, and data privacy laws.

  • Reporting Violations: If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to the community administrators immediately. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly.

Warning and Removal System for Non-Compliant Members:

First Warning: When a member is found to be non-compliant with the Membership Code of Conduct, the community administrators will reach out to the member. The warning will clearly state which rule of the code has been violated and what actions the member needs to take to rectify the situation.

Second Warning: If a member continues to violate the Membership Code of Conduct after receiving a first warning, the community administrators will issue a second warning to the member. The second warning will reiterate the violation and clearly state the consequences of further non-compliance, such as immediate permanent removal from the community

Permanent Removal: If a member's behaviour continues to be non-compliant with the Membership Code of Conduct after receiving two warnings, or if the behaviour is deemed severe enough to warrant immediate permanent removal, the community administrators may permanently remove the member from the community. The member will be notified of the decision and the reasons behind it. Please note that there will be no refund or partial reimbursement of membership fees for non-compliant members who are permanently removed.

By joining our community, you agree to abide by this Membership Code of Conduct and its warning and removal system for non-compliant members. We reserve the right to modify or update this Code of Conduct as necessary. Thank you for your cooperation in creating a safe and supportive community for next-generation women leaders.

Circle Criteria:
Once you have missed 4 meetings, The Well Team will connect with you to see if you are needing an alternate group, time, or location, or prefer to be removed from a Circle for the time being.

Cancellation or Refund Policy:

Membership Fees: Membership fees are non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:

a. Within 24 hours of joining the community, a member may cancel their membership and receive a full refund of the membership fee.

b. If a member is permanently removed from the community due to a violation of the Membership Code of Conduct, they are not eligible for partial reimbursement.

c. If a member cancels prior to her 12 month commitment, she will still be responsible to pay the full 12 month fee.

In-Person Events: Event registrations and tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.

Other Products or Services: If a member purchases any other product or service from the community, the refund policy will be clearly stated on the product or service description.

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@thewellcollaborative.com. The community reserves the right to modify or update this policy as necessary to comply with the Saskatchewan The Consumer Protection and Business Practices Act
